Seit 2004 sind alle Biokraftstoffe von der Mineralölsteuer befreit. Inzwischen sind die Ölpreise stark gestiegen - dadurch werden Biokraftstoffe wettbewerbsfähiger. Warum soll man sie weiter stützen?

 

Es ist nichts dagegen zu sagen, dass Steinbrück den Biodiesel mit 10 Cent pro Liter belasten will. Aber reines Pflanzenöl soll mit 15 Cent pro Liter besteuert werden. Das ist zu viel. Pflanzenöl ist zwar in der Produktion etwas billiger - doch die Umrüstung der Motoren ist teurer.
